you were a cat
I was a toy mouse.
you were the moon
I was a supernova.
you were a black hole
I was a radio antennae.
you were the mother
of a broken key.
you were a lover
of an inch high man.
you were the store
I was the dollar.
you were the president
I was a bushman of the kalihari.
you were the garbage man
I was the truck.
you were the broken speaker
I was the phone nobody heard.
you were the lipstick
I was the cigarette.
you were my mean father
I was my father’s angry son.
you were me
I was a moth.
you were a moth
I was everything.

I enjoyed this piece.
Great use of metaphors — definitely enhances the emotion of your prose.
I love the final two couplets! Very nice overall.
