Any aspiring writer knows that a byline means everything when it comes to launching your career. As a contributor, you can build your portfolio, make a name for yourself, gain invaluable writing exposure, and engage your audience with comments, feedback and discussion.

Personalize Your Flask and Pen Experience

Contributor profiles are personalized with photos, descriptions and allow writers to include a link to their own website or blog. Each article you write for our site is linked to your Flask and Pen Author Page making it easy for readers to learn more about you and access your other works.

Promote Your Writing

We work hard to bring new readers to the site and our community is growing. The Flask and Pen Editors actively promote the site through social media and social bookmarking. This includes the posts submitted by contributers like you.

When you share your writing on FlaskandPen.com, we want you to get noticed!

Every week, we will randomly feature a different contributor. Featured Writers are showcased prominently on the website with a link to their author page, bio and photo.

How to Become a Contributing Writer

Create your Flask and Pen Contributor profile now to gain new readers and engage in open, literary discussion. Please note that a photo and bio are both required to become a contributor. Incomplete profiles will not be allowed to submit.

There are two ways to register:

  1. Connect with your Facebook Account at join flaskandpen.com
  2. Add your bio

  1. Click through to join flaskandpen.com
  2. Register with your full name (first and last), you may also choose a “nickname” if you prefer to write under a pseudonym
  3. Fill in your bio. Less than 200 words please.
  4. Optional: link to your social media accounts

Subscribers

You don’t have to become a contributer to join the community. Register as a subscriber. You will still be able to create a profile and have your photo show next to each of your comments.
